Three people have been charged, following an assault early Thursday morning in Quinte West.
OPP were called around 2:00 a.m. to respond to the call on Old Wooler Road.
Three men arrived at the home and broke in.
They assaulted the victim, who then ran out and locked himself in a vehicle.
The suspects then heavily damaged the car.
A 27 year old Quinte West man and a 23 year old from Brighton have been charged with assault, mischief and unlawfully in a dwelling.
A 39 year old Trenton man was also charged.
Their names are not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
