8 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze medals. That’s the tally by athletes from Kenzo Dozono’s S.K.I. Karate School at the “Tiger Cup” in Toronto.
Some of the highlights include a gold Kumite and bronze in Kata by Julia Wilson in the 15 year old Female Black Belt Elite Division. A silver by Marika Tamura in the 17 year old Black Belt elite division. And a silver and bronze for Florencia Oroz-Brennan in adult black belt.
Also winning gold in their respective competitions were 11 year old Nathan Kritzer in both Kumite and Kata. Ben Kritzer, Swaathik Ahil, Lina Brennan and Jessica Robertson.
