Downtown Brighton
Brighton council could soon allow some businesses to be open on statutory holidays.
The Brighton DBIA, along with Mike and Lori’s No Frills have asked that businesses that
wish to open on holidays to take advantage of the tourist trade be allowed to.
Council could pass a by-law allowing certain businesses within 2 kilometres of a tourist attraction to be
open.
Brighton council meets tonight at 6:30 at the municipal office.
