It’s a sure sign of spring in the Quinte Region.
Workers have spent the morning at the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club, lifting boats from their winter storage spots and into the Bay of Quinte.
Given the number of vessels to be put back in the water, the lifts will continue through Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
The majority of the boats on the east side of Victoria Park went in today with the remainder going in tomorrow.
