The flooring is laid out on the Rink B surface in the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre
It has been three years in the making, however it is now down to one week.
The U-19 Women’s World Floorball Championships starts Wednesday May 4th, with the first game featuring Team Canada and Japan.
Hundreds of volunteers, thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been invested in the tournament, which will bring 15 countries from across the globe.
Tournament President Brett Davis says the support of the City of Belleville, the sponsors and volunteers have brought everything together.
Team Sweden arrives Thursday, with teams to follow throughout the weekend.
Practices begin on the weekend and an international friendly between Canada and Sweden is scheduled for Sunday.
