It is going to be a hub of activity at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre this week.
The city is preparing for next week’s Under-19 Women’s World Floorball Championships.
Monday, the ice at the boards will come out of the Yardmen Arena.
Also this week, over 50,000 pounds of flooring will be unrolled on Rink B and the Yardmen surface, along with boards and equipment.
Lighting will also be installed for the opening ceremonies, which include Olympic Silver medalist Elizabeth Manley.
On Thursday, teams will begin to arrive in preparation for the tournie.
Tickets are now available at the former Bulls box office.
