The City of Belleville has officially started the second phase of revitalization work in downtown Belleville.
This morning was the ribbon cutting and sod turning for the work at Campbell and Front Street.
Deputy Director of Engineering Ray Ford says the first stage of work will last about two weeks between Campbell and Victoria Streets.
