Quinte West’s planning and building departments are extremely busy these days, as are private sector developers.
Several housing developments are underway or going through the city’s approval process.
Quinte West council recently approved selling land to Archer’s Poultry Farms for a big new chick hatchery, and
a new grain dryer facility will soon be built on Wooler Road.
Meanwhile, the city’s planning committee has recommended approval of phase one of the Orchard Lane development off Telephone Road, consisting of 56 houses.
