The Hastings-Prince Edward Community Office of the Canadian Cancer Society is celebrating a new move.
With Society members by his side Belleville mayor Taso Christopher cut the ribbon on the new location at 121 Dundas Street East on Friday.
“We’re excited about the new space,” said office manager Amy Doyle. “We are happy to have the footage and visibility on the main drag. Plus we will be saving about $14,000 a year with the new space.”
Doyle said they were happy with the other location (97 Hanna Court South) which they maintained for six years.
“This came available and the opportunity to save money and have the main drag visibility was an added bonus.”
