The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between April 22nd , 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and April 23rd, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
Police responded to 4 motor vehicle collisions during this period.
The first collision involved a single motor vehicle that struck a pole on Hwy #2 at Old Kingston Road. The driver was charged for failing to drive in a marked lane and was treated for minor injuries.
The second 2 car collision was reported to police at 4:15 p.m. and it occurred at Moira St. West and Sidney Street. One driver was treated for minor injuries and a driver was charged with making a turn not in safety
The third collision was reported at 6:11 p.m. and it occurred at Coleman and Dundas Street West. This collision resulted in damage only to the vehicles involved.
The fourth collision was reported to police at 1:38 a.m. BPS, EMS and BFD attended in the area of Tracey Park Drive and Sidney Street for a single motor vehicle collision. The lone occupant of the vehicle was taken via ambulance for medical treatment. Belleville Police Service Traffic Management Unit is continuing with this investigation.
