Actors in a previous Festival Players of Prince Edward County production, “The Notorious Right Robert and His Robber Bride”.
Roving live theatre in Prince Edward County is 10 years old, and the Festival Players of Prince Edward County will be celebrating with more of a local focus in its productions this summer.
The first show by the professional theatre group will be “Tale of the Town: Prince Edward County”, a collection of stories collected from residents on the County’s main streets.
It will be performed at Mount Tabor in Milford.
In August, the last production will be “Splinter in the Heart”, an adaptation of a book by the late local poet, Al Purdy.
It will be an outdoor show, at Rosehall Run Vineyards.
Many other productions are also in the works.
