A number of residents in Belleville’s west end are making a bid for city services to be extended to their area.
Just over half the homeowners on the dead end road, Holmes Road on the north side of Dundas Street West, have petitioned the city for sewer services.
Council has called for a staff report.

Bovay says it would be similar to the recent extension of services to Cloverleaf Drive.
Residents connecting to the service would pay the capital cost.
Bovay says a staff report will come back to council probably this fall and if council decides to go ahead, residents would have a vote on whether or not they wish to proceed.
