Ten local runners tackled the most famous marathon in the world yesterday.
Frankford’s Kevin Beatty led the way finishing the Boston Marathon in 2:45:17. Kris Bonn was next in 3:02:08. Also finishing were Boyd Kalnay, Damon Allen, Eric Lindenberg and Allan Savage. Carolyn Coffin led local women with a time of 3:37:54. Celine Murdoch and Joy Petch also finished. A bad cold forced Cassandra Bonn from the race half way through.
