Things have been drying up around the Quinte Region over the weekend, which has led to a number of early-season burn bans.
Most municipalities surrounding Belleville and Quinte West already had them in effect, but now Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan says both cities are implementing them too.
A partial ban is also in effect in Prince Edward County.
All of the bans will last until we get some significant rainfall.
