Some residents living near the so called Lakeside Landing subdivision have concerns that fill dumpedĀ on the property could contain contaminants that could affect their drinking water.
The Ministry of Environment is now setting up a testing regime.
Meanwhile, in a report, a law firm believes the municipality is not liable should there be any contamination on the property.
The lawyers write that only the owner of the land would be held responsible for any problems.
