The Belleville Police Service responded to 64 calls for service between April 15th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and April 16th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Assault Bodily Harm
On 15 April, 2016 at 9:45 p.m. police received a complaint of an assault that had just occurred at a business on North Front Street. Investigation led to the arrest of a 31 year old female of Belleville where it is alleged that the female struck an employee of the business with a glass. The female has been held for a bail hearing.
Assault/ Mischief
On 16 April, 2016 at 1:25 a.m. police received a complaint of a disturbance from a business on North Front Street. A 25 year old woman from Deseronto was initially arrested from the disturbance but further investigation resulted in allegations that the woman assaulted 2 individuals and damaged the property of one of the individuals. The woman will appear in Provincial court on 12 May, 2016.
