Now that a recent stretch of wet weather has let up, Lower Trent Conservation is downgrading its Flood Warning to a Flood Watch.
The bulletin is in effect for the section of the Trent River, between Hastings and Trenton.
Water flows and levels have hit the springtime peak and will likely decline slowly over the weekend, but will still remain high for the next few weeks, as the spring runoff moves downstream.
Members of the public are advised to be cautious around river banks, dams, culverts and bridges.
LTC will provide an update on April 18th.
