There’s a brief update to a house fire in Tyendinega Township today.
Township and Mohawk fire crews responded to the home at 88 Weese Road, around 11:30 this morning and spent a couple of hours battling the blaze.
Fire officials tell Quinte News the residents of the home were able to get out ok and there were no injuries, however about $100,000 damage was done to the building.
At this point there’s no word on what sparked the blaze, but the investigation is ongoing.
