A young Belleville man, charged in a home invasion investigation, has been sentenced to half a year in jail.
Tuesday in a Belleville court, 21 year old Joseph Hagan was handed the term, along with a year probation and a 10 year weapons prohibition.
He was originally charged last month, after a man made his way into a North Park Street home in Belleville.
The suspect was accused of showing a knife and using bear spray on a victim inside the house.
He plead guilty in pre-trial court this week.
