A long standing official, or legal, crosswalk in Trenton is being seen as unsafe by some.
Quinte West Public Works committee member Wayne Scaletta says serious accidents are
just waiting to happen at the crosswalk on “Gilmour Hill” on Dundas East at the KFC in Trenton.
Public Works Director Chris Angelo says whether the crosswalk is safe or not is now being
studied by the traffic committee and a recommendation is expected soon.
The crosswalk has existed since the 1980s.
