The owners of a well-known local cheese factory, hit by a fire yesterday, say they’re still open for business.
Paul Henry of Maple Dale Cheese says a fire at the Highway 37 plant Monday morning was “isolated” and the company’s store is running as usual.
Fire officials say about $10,000 damage was caused by the flames, which started in a maintenance room.
A cause is still under investigation.
