Belleville will take a look at the municipal services it offers and how taxpayers pay for them.
Councillor Egerton Boyce raised the issue during city council’s last day of budget debate.
Boyce noted that some residents of Ward 2 receive firefighter service they don’t pay for.
Councillor Jack Miller noted that some residents pay for service they don’t actually get.

Council called for a staff report on the issue to be brought back in the fall.
