Two lifters from the Victory Barbell Club won medals at the Scholastics Weightlifting Contest in North Bay.
13 year old Connor Bazilsky was first in his weight class with a total lift of 255 pounds in “snatch” and “clean and jerk”. That’s a 33 pound increase from his last competition in December for the 96 pound Bazilsky.
16 year old Quinn Harvey placed second with a 380 pound total lift. Harvey competes at 143 pounds.
