Two members of Kenzo Dozono’s S.K.I. Belleville Karate School earned silver medals at the Ontario Grand Prix Karate Championships in Kitchener.
Despite competing in an older age catagory, 13 year old Julia Wilson, a grade 8 student at Queen Elizabeth Elementary School in Belleville finished second in Kumite.
10 year old Joseph Spinosa won silver in boys intermediate kata. Joseph is in grade 5 at St. Gregory Catholic School in Picton.
