A Cobourg man convicted of several sex offences has been sentenced to six years in jail.
46-year-old Joseph deYoung pleaded guilty to charges that included making and possessing child pornography and sexual interference in November.
Northumberland News reports DeYoung created a collection of more than 80,000 pornographic images and 400 movies, some involving his five-year-old goddaughter.
An officer who testified in the case called it the largest collection he’s ever seen.
DeYoung served five months’ jail time for similar offences in 2007.
That case involved the daughter of a girlfriend of DeYoung.
