It looks as though a new family doctor will soon set up practice in the City of Belleville.
At Monday’s meeting, city council will be asked to support an agreement with Dr. Chad Stewart under its doctor recruitment program.
As have 22 other doctors over the years, Dr. Stewart will receive $150,000 in exchange for a 5 year commitment to practice medicine in Belleville.
The doctor is finishing his residency and should be ready to open a practice in December.
