More information is coming about a fatal collision between a minivan and a horse drawn carriage northwest of Orangeville on Sunday.
A Belleville man, 20 year old Alex Silk made a court appearance by video yesterday, charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm.
A report in the Owen Sound Sun Times says Silk’s alleged to have grabbed the wheel, while in the passenger seat.
The driver of the minivan, a 60 year old from Marmora and Lake was not charged.
A 5 year old girl, a passenger in the carriage, which was carrying 4 adults and 5 children, died of her injuries in hospital.
