An assault on four staff members at Millhaven Institution forced a brief lockdown at the maximum security prison in Bath Thursday morning.
Assistant Warden Vicki Willis says the injured staff members were evaluated and treated at an outside hospital.
She says the assailant has been identified and the appropriate actions have been taken.
The OPP Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad and the institution are presently investigating the incident.
Normal operations resumed in the afternoon once the Warden determined it was considered safe to do so.
