Six members of the Belleville-Quinte West Special Olympics team competed in a Meet in Brockville this weekend. The Meet offers important social and athletic opportunities for local swimmers in advance of the Provincial Spring Games.
Grace Freeland led the way with 2-firsts and a second place finish. Luke Flynn added a first, second and a pair of 4ths. Kai Freeland was on the podium with a second and 2-thirds. John Tinney a first and second. And the youngest member of the local team, Hannah Freeland had a first and third place finish.
