Paramedic students at Loyalist College will benefit greatly from a generous donation by Hastings County.
On Friday morning, the Hastings County Paramedics handed over a decommissioned ambulance to the college, which will be used as a training vehicle for students in the two-year program.
Instructors will be able to use the ambulance to simulate real-life environments, where students can learn how to properly give emergency treatments and how to drive the vehicle as well.
Hastings County Warden Rick Phillips said in a press release that making the donation to the college and helping out up-and-coming paramedics, just made sense.
