Suspicious Person and vehicle
Belleville, Ontario – On April 1st, 2016, at 8:15 a.m. a 12-year old girl was walking to school on Pine Street at MacDonald Avenue when a motorist stopped to offer her a ride. She declined and the car was last seen going southbound on Bleecker Avenue.
The male is described as: black, 30-40 years of age, balding on top with hair on the sides, unshaven, brown eyes, no accent. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark blue or black shirt.
The car is a silver-coloured Dodge Avenger with the word Avenger appearing on a decal on the rear quarter panel.
The driver was the lone occupant in the vehicle. Any information on the vehicle or driver can be forwarded to the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
Unwanted person
Belleville, Ontario – On April 1st, 2016, at 10:20 p.m. police attended at a motel on North Front Street in relation to a male who refused to leave. A 38-year old male of no fixed address was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act for failing to leave premises when directed. He was charged and issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
