A judge is expected to make a decision today on whether a Prince Edward County organization can
appeal a decision to allow a green energy company to start clearing land for a 27 turbine wind farm.
The Alliance to Protect Prince Edward County, or APPEC, presented it’s appeal motion to a divisional court judge yesterday.
APPEC hopes to stop WPD White Pines from clearing vegetation, as an Environmental Review Tribunal is still considering issues regarding the turbines hurting some wildlife.
