A year ago, the Trenton Golden Hawks lost to the Kingston Voyageurs in six games in the OJHL’s North-East Conference final. The opportunity for revenge is at hand.
The Conference final begins tonight with Trenton hosting the Vees at 7:30 at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens. The Golden Hawks swept the four game regular season series including two overtime victories in the final weeks of the season. But the Voyageurs have been perfect in the playoffs with back to back sweeps. Trenton took out Newmarket in four and Wellington in five.
Game two is in Kingston tomorrow night (6:50 on CJBQ) with the third game Sunday night in Trenton.
