MPP Todd Smith was the guest speaker Wednesday morning at the Belleville Chamber of Commerce breakfast.
Smith did discuss political topics, however his main focus was conservatism in 2016 across the area, the province and Canada.
He says the tories cannot afford to be hard hearted or narrow minded.
Smith says conservatives need to do is broaden their party.
