The season is over for the “AAA” Quinte Red Devils Hockey teams and it was capped off with their annual awards.
The President’s award for excellence in Hockey, Academics and Community involvement in the bantam and midget division goes to Bailey Matthews. Aiden Treverton won in the Atom and Peewee division.
Steve Bancroft of the Cross Fit Bantam Red Devils is the Coach of the Year. The Most Improved Team is Russ Alexander’s PeeWee Red Devils. Chris Hunt’s Minor Peewee team had the highest winning percentage at .847. And Larry Votary and Brian Thifault were named Volunteers of the Year.
All 8 teams made the playoffs. 3 finished first in their respective divisions with two winning OMHA Silver medals.
