In Jr C Schmalz Cup Playoff hockey, the Port Hope Panthers downed the Port Perry Mojacks of the Central Ontario Jr C league 5-3 in game 3 of their quarter-final series. That gives the Panthers a 2 games to 1 series lead. Josh Gervais scored a pair, including the game winner and Sheldon Calbury made 31 stops in the victory. Game 4 goes today at 2:30 in Port Perry.
