Assault
Belleville, Ontario – On Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 8:12 a.m., police responded to Front Street in regards to a disturbance involving a male and female. As a result of a police investigation, a 37 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with Assault and Breach of Recognizance. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Utter Threats and Assault With A Weapon
Belleville, Ontario – On Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:45 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on St. Charles Street. Information received prior to police arrival was that one male party possibly had a gun and was threatening people. Police attended and as a result of a police investigation, it was determined that there was no firearm and a 31 year old male of Deseronto, Ontario was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon x 2, and Utter Threats x 3. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
