A local effort to combat poverty will receive a helping hand from the Ontario
Trillium Foundation next week.
Prince Edward Hastings MPP Todd Smith will announce a Trillium Foundation grant
of $334,000 for Hastings and Prince Edward Poverty Roundtable.
Those involved will spearhead a three-year project to come up with ways to improve the
lives of those in poverty.
The grant announcement and project detail will be announced this Wednesday at 2 p.m.
at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Belleville.
