A 46-year-old man is in hospital suffering from serious life threatening injuries following a family dispute in Amherstview last night.
Napanee OPP were called to a residence in the town at 10 p.m.
A 19-year-old woman known to the victim has been charged with aggravated assault.
She is in Napanee court today and the investigation in continuing.
