MCL Architects will handle design, tender preparation and contract administration for the new facility, at a cost of $226,430.
That’s almost half the original cost of $500,000 for design of the $6 million dollar facility.
The bid came in cheaper than expected, since the design being looked at is similar to a fire hall built by MCL in another municipality.
