Five local Special Olympians competed at the Durham Dolphins Swim Meet held in Pickering yesterday.
Luke Flynn of Picton and John Tinney of Belleville had four wins each in their respective divisions. Flynn and Tinney have earned a berth in the Provincial Spring Games in Guelph in May, as has Hannah Freeland. Hannah had a first, second, third and two personal bests. Jessica Gregory of Deseronto also finished first in her class while Grace Freeland had two personal bests.
They will compete again in two weeks in Brockville.
