Two local sea cadets are spending this week aboard a Canadian Navy training ship on the British Columbia coast.
The two cadets, Lauryn Woodstock and Danette Sagriss, are members of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Quinte.

Wisniewski says they will receive training in all the work of the crew including some emergency responses.
Meanwhile another local sea cadet, Stephanie Quinton, has just returned from a week of training on one of the tall ships sailing the B.C. coast.
