Teachers and other staff working at specialty schools in Belleville will hold a protest in the midday today.
The demonstration will be held outside of the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf and the Sagonaska Demonstration School along Dundas West starting shortly after 11 this morning.
Staff and others are concerned that the Sagonaska Demonstration School, which serves about 40 students with special needs, will be closed.
Consultants hired by the provincial government, which funds the schools, will be visiting the schools today to do an evaluation.
