The Minor Midget AAA Quinte Red Devils’ time at the 2016 OHL Cup Showcase Tournament has come to an end. The Red Devils were defeated 3-2 in overtime by the Toronto Junior Canadians yesterday afternoon. Dawson Baker and Nathan Dunkley scored for the Red Devils, while Evan Morrison turned in an admirable performance in net. The next step for the Red Devils will be preparing for the OHL Draft, which starts on April 9. Meanwhile, the Toronto Marlboros defeated the Junior Canadians 6-0 in the Semi-Final and will face off against the York-Simcoe Express. That game will be televised nationally on Sportsnet from the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto at 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
