A Brighton man has been handed a suspended sentence and a five-year weapons prohibition in connection with a stabbing incident in Brighton.
Nineteen-year-old Adrian Brose will also be on probation for 18 months after pleading guilty to possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was arrested after a 19-year-old man was stabbed with a knife during a fight involving several men near downtown Brighton on May 29th of last year.
Charges of assault, assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm were withdrawn.
