There was a house fire north of Bancroft late last night.
Details are scarce but the fire broke out shortly before midnight at a house on the
Graphite Road in the Maynooth area.
Meanwhile, Belleville firefighters responded to Tripp Avenue in the city’s west end overnight.
As it turned out, the flames were set in a blue box beside a house, and the fire had been put
out by the time firefighters arrived on scene.
