A Belleville Police officer has commented on a recent distracted driving operation, which left a sour taste in some mouths.
On Wednesday, an under cover police officer dressed as a hitchhiker, nabbed a driver for holding his cell phone at a traffic light.
Comments came in by the hundreds, including the argument of entrapment.

Lorne asked Officer Stitt about the sting on Wednesday.
Several motorists were fined for distracted driving during the undercover operation on Wednesday.
