The Quinte KKP Red Devils are one of four teams with a 2-0 record after the first day of the OHL Cup “AAA” Minor Midget Showcase tournament in Toronto.
The Red Devils opened with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Marlies. Nate Boomhower scored the winner. Quinte followed up with a 4-2 decision over Northern Ontario. Dawson Baker and Matt Sherwin scored twice.
The Red Devils play the TPH Thunder from the U.S. in their lone game today. There are 20 teams in this event.
