Big name projects are on the books in Brighton, but there hasn’t been much action.
Mac’s Milk hasn’t done a necessary environmental assessment on its property in the heart of the
downtown, and the company hasn’t applied for a demolition permit yet.
Meanwhile, Tim Hortons has received a re-zoning to allow them to build on the No Frills parking lot, but
details still have to be approved, such as if there is enough parking for the two businesses to co-exist.
And, the McDonald’s restaurant/gas station project on the 401 in Brighton is almost at the building permit stage.
