The Stirling-Rawdon Police is seeking the assistance of the public in regards to a number of property-related crimes.
On Friday March 11, the SRPS received a complaint about a theft of an ARGO amphibious all-terrain vehicle and trailer from P.A. Miller Surveying located on 18 Cambellford Road, Stirling. The theft occurred sometime within the preceding two week period. The ARGO was sitting upon its trailer, parked at the rear of the building. The culprit(s) appeared to have driven a vehicle, cut off the trailer lock and hooked up the trailer to the vehicle before driving it away. The 2002 ARGO is green in colour with tracks over its wheels. The trailer is described as a 2008, 5’x 8’ black utility trailer bearing license plate no. F3412F.
At approximately 12:55 AM on Sunday March 13, the SRPS responded to a complaint of a break and enter in progress at a Mill Street business, Beautiful Things. It was thereafter discovered that two other Mill Street Businesses were broken into: Rustic Routes and Vintage Junction. In all three break and enters, the culprit(s) gained access by forcing open the front doors facing Mill Street. A small amount of money was taken from one of the break and enters, but no other losses were reported in the other two. The scenes and related items were examined by the SRPS Scenes of Crime Officer, and the investigations are continuing.
